The book titled “Early Childhood Education in the Mediterranean: Availability, Accessibility and Affordability of Services”, co-edited by Professor Mehmet Toran, a faculty member of the Department of Basic Education at the Faculty of Education, and Professor Valerie Sollars from the University of Malta, has been published by BRILL, a leading international publishing house classified in Category A.

Faculty of Education Department of Basic Education students, donated the Montessori materials they prepared within the scope of the lesson led by Head of the Department of Basic Education Assoc. Prof. Gökçe Kurt to the four kindergarten classrooms and the newly established special education classroom of Avcılar Denizköşkler Primary School.

Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Toran, one of the faculty members of the Faculty of Education, Department of Basic Education, contributed as an expert to the "Education Monitoring Report 2021: Students and Access to Education" report prepared by Initiative of Education Reform, of which our university is one of the sponsors.
